The Bended Elbow offers a wide range of European beers on tap. We also have bottled beers from around the world and an extensive wine list. Here's just a taste of what we have on offer.
Peroni - (Italy)
Peroni is the Peroni company's original brand, and the best selling pale lager in Italy. It is 4.7% abv, and is made with barley malt, corn grits, hop pellets and hop extract. By the 1950s and 1960s, Peroni had become the brand of beer most recognized throughout the Italian peninsula.
Newcastle Brown (England) 4.7%
Brewed in Newcastle the same way it has been for 77 years and fully imported. "Newkie Brown" is a full flavored, rich, dark beer with a sweet scent and mildly sweet taste
Guinness (Ireland) 4.2%
An acquired taste Guinness is a full bodied Brew that is very bitter and full of taste. To those of you accustomed to Guinness one mouthful will leave you wanting more
Grolsh - (Holland)
Grolsch is an international premium beer of Dutch origin. Grolsch Premium Lager is brewed using no other ingredients than malted barley, hops and water. With an alcohol content of 5% by volume, Grolsch Premium Lager tastes best when served at a temperature of 6-8 C. People enjoy Grolsch because of its quality and distinctive taste.

Carlton Draught (Australian) 4.6%
One of the biggest selling tap beers in Australia, Carlton Draught is a traditional lager. It is crisp on the palate and has a slightly dry finish. Why not see how Carlton Draught compares with its British counterparts?
Bruers Bright (Australian)
Called Bruers Bright, the beer is described as an “Australian style draught lager with a clean fresh aroma, a fruity individualistic palate and a soft bitter aftertaste”.

Full flavoured and full bodied, Low Cabohydrate beer
Stella Artois (Belgian) 5.1%
The history of this well-known Belgian brew can be traced as far back as 1366. It is a crisp, refreshing pilsner that is very easy to drink. ‘Stella’ is Latin for star and Stella Artois certainly lives up to its name
Hoegaarden (Belgian) 4.8%
An authentic Belgian wheat beer that is highly drinkable and refreshing. Hoegaarden has been described as the ‘sweet and sour’ of the beer world. No doubt a reference to its slightly fruity and bitter taste.
Fat Yak (Matilda Bay,Australian) 4.7%
Fat Yak is brewed with natural ingredients, including premium malts, American Cascade hops and a hint of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. Fat Yak first impresses with its golden colour, distinctive, hop driven, fruity and herbaceous aromas, giving characteristic passionfruit and melon notes, followed by a whack of hop flavour at the finish. The taste is refreshingly clean on the palate.
Blue Tongue Lager (Australia) 4.9%
** OUR GUEST BEER ** 'Our Guest Beer' is a beer that we have carefully chosen to be a seasonal guest at The Bended Elbow. Our current guest beer is...Bluetongue Premium Lager, its fresh, full flavour comes from soft Hunter water and the finest local malted barley. Tasmanian bittering hops with a late addition of noble German Hersbrucker hops create a deliciously crisp bitterness and a tantalising floral aroma.
